Chris Brown says Rihanna attacked HIM

The latest rumor from the States in the shocking ongoing saga between Rihanna and Chris Brown is that he’s planning to claim self defense. According to an insider from Chris’ legal team, Chris is “building his case” against Rihanna – even though charges are yet to be pressed. “He's saying she threw a phone at him, then hit him in the head and basically just lost it,” says the source. “He's saying she attacked him.” However, criminal defense lawyer Darren Kavinoky says he’s not convinced this will stand up in court, in light of the shocking pictures of Rihanna in a battered and bruised state. “Unless there's some indication that she was enraged to the point that she physically threatened him, I think he'd have a tough time with that defense,” he says. “If it goes to court, ultimately it would be up to a jury to decide.”
