Kym returns to Corrie two weeks after death of baby son

Kym Marsh has bravely returned to the Coronation Street set following the death of her baby son, who was born prematurely two weeks ago. Baby Archie died just seconds after being born on 12 February in Manchester, and Kym and her partner, Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas, issued a statement expressing their devastation at the tragic turn of events. Now Kym has decided that getting back to work is the best way for her to deal with her grief. “Kym is devastated but wanted to get back to work and try to start getting back to normal,” says a source at the soap. “We’re very careful to make sure she doesn’t do too much. She’s been through so much. Her friends on the show are being an enormous source of comfort.”
